Common PT Software, Drivers and Transmission is responsible for the design, development and validation of control systems related to A/C, Alternator, Starting, Thermal Systems and Vehicle Propulsive Systems. We develop key technologies and capabilities to optimize and enhance drivability, fuel economy, emissions, and overall customer experience. JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a talented and innovative Control System Engineer to join our team and work on the development of next-generation powertrain control software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control systems engineering, a passion for automotive technology, and a drive to push the boundaries of innovation in the field. What you'll be able to do: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems for automotive applications.Conduct testing, validation, and optimization of control systems for automotive applications.Analyze data, identify issues, and develop solutions to enhance software performance and efficiency.Stay current on industry trends and advancements in control systems for automotive applications.Basics:Bachelor's in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.BSCS, BSEE, BSCE. 3years of proven experience in integrating control systems for automotive applications.Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C, MATLAB, or Simulink.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management abilities.2-3 years of experience required. Hybrid position. Preferred:Knowledge of vehicle powertrain systems and diagnostic protocols. Experience with development and diagnostic tools. Previous experience in developing algorithms for powertrain controls. Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing methodologies.
