Established CPA firm based in Coral Gables seeking an experienced accountant for full-time permanent position.
· The candidate should have a commitment to client service, deadlines, a willingness to learn and accept new challenges, and be a flexible, highly organized, self-starter who is able to handle multiple projects.
· Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations and partnerships
· Ensure tax adjustments are made to financial statements for preparation of tax returns.
· Process monthly and quarterly write-up work
· Reconcile bank statements, prepare monthly and quarterly sales tax returns and payroll reports (941's, FL RT-6's)
· Maintain relationships with clients
· Required Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (preferred but not required)
* must be a CPA or future CPA candidate
* 5 or more years of Public Accounting experience
* Strong knowledge of Quickbooks
* Work well under pressure and ability to meet deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
* Proven ability to work independently and as a team
* Strong command of both English and Spanish
