Responsibilities OBXtek is recruiting for a cleared Jr. Project Manager I to work on the PEO-T contract for USTRANSCOM. The tasks for this person will be, but not limited to, the following: Responsible for the successful execution and completion of each task within a project by providing coordination and support services to a more Senior PM or Program Manager. This involves interfacing with the customer concerning technical, preparing status reports, project milestone reports, technical support, and general project administration. May perform one or more of the following activities: assembling project team; assigning individual responsibilities; identifying appropriate resources needed; developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project; meeting deadlines of project; project scope management; project time management; project cost management; project quality management; project Human Resource (HR) management; project communications management; project risk management; and project procurement management. Hybrid schedule (90% teleworking/10% onsite at Scott AFB, IL) Qualifications Clearance Requirement: Must have an Active Secret Clearance 1 year relevant experience in the following: Possess knowledge of Acquisition program plans consistent with policies, requirements, and direction. Proven ability to analyze interrelated issues and development of recommendations to solve problem Ability to coordinate activities and schedules with internal and external organizations and customers to guide program accomplishment through phases of the acquisition cycle Experience establishing management controls such as milestones, expenditure rates, metrics and management reviews to reflect Acquisition program status and to provide early detection of problems. Ability to recommend tradeoffs to cost, schedule and performance. Familiarity with the application of industry best practices to program guidance, planning, and solutions. Experience in preparation and tracking status of Acquisition program-related documents submitted for review/approval by Command authority.
