Come join us About the role: The Sales Manager, Drug – CVS will be an active member of the LIV Sales team reporting to the Director, Drug & Nutrition. This role will be responsible for building and executing strategic sales plans with CVS & Drug wholesale customers. The primary area of focus will be to grow and develop existing and new business across multiple categories. The scope of this role will cover both national and regional account reach. The Drug channel is a key growth channel for LIV with CVS being a key strategic customer. LIV is looking for someone who will be an expert in their customers and be able to provide LIV Sales leadership with analytical insights and recommendations to grow sales and profitability. This person will be expected to leverage data and insights in determining how to drive base and incremental sales (distribution, shelving, pricing, and promotion). As a vital part of the LIV Sales team, the Sales Manager will effectively communicate the status of the business (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and assist in developing annual customer and internal operating plans. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has the ability to establish and develop customer relationships, is highly analytical, results driven and eager to work in a growing, fast-paced company. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets with assigned customers. Develop analysis and insights to business priorities: innovation sell in, category reviews, new item tracking, and consumer insights. Influence retailers by identifying areas of growth / problem solving to ensure all goals are achieved. Present and work directly with buyers to understand their business needs, objectives, marketing opportunities along with presenting innovation. Manage trade spend budgets. Utilize data to analyze pre and post promotional execution. Manage relationship with brokers and distributors, leveraging longstanding relationships with CVS and Drug Wholesale accounts. Work with broker/distributor Sales Managers to develop tactical in-store marketing plans. Be the expert of the category-specific landscapes and trends. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required. 5+ years in direct selling role within CPG required. 2+ years of experience working within the Drug channel, CVS experience is highly preferred. Growth mindset professionally and personally, one that values personal development. Deep understanding of pricing models and cross-channel interaction/risk mitigation. Action oriented with a can-do, positive attitude helping to inspire others to adopt a winning attitude. Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding targets. Demonstrate ability to establish, development, and maintain customer relationships. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Exceptional verbal and written communications skills. The expected base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $120,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget.
