Position Overview

The Operational Systems Trainer is responsible for coordinating the development, maintenance, and delivery of comprehensive training programs both in the classroom and in the field. This position is located out of the Corporate Charlotte office.

What You'll Do

•Coordinate, implement, conduct, track, and report on training programs for operational systems and products tailored to a diverse audience with varying leaning styles in both classroom and field environments.

•Develop and deliver engaging webinars, virtual training sessions, and live training events for the field operations team.

•Train and mentor new personnel to ensure adherences to company processes, procedures, and customer service standards.

•Effectively communicate policies and procedures relevant to various branch positions.

•Conduct monthly tracking and evaluations of key field operation metrics, including open orders, service orders, and warranty work.

•Create, maintain, update, and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

•Collaborate with internal stakeholders on remodel projects and Plan-O-Gram initiatives, including tool walls and store displays.

•Observe the branch and operations team performance and provide coaching and support as necessary.

•Oversee the management of service labor rates, inventory management barcodes, and other essential job tools.

Skills We Are Seeking

•Extensive working knowledge of the Epicor P21 ERP system is preferred.

•A minimum of 2 years of experience in conducting classroom training and/or leading seminars/workshops is preferred.

•At least 5 years of combined experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and service management is required.

•Experience in Irrigation and Turf Equipment is a plus, but not mandatory.

•Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

•Ability to develop workflow processes while simultaneously coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

•Ability to simplify and communicate complex issues clearly and effectively.

•Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with diverse personalities.

•Exceptional attention to detail.

•Ability to travel 40-50% of the time.
