We are looking for a Property Accountant to be responsible for the overall accounting processes of one of our properties in Alexandria, VA. What the Property Accountant will be doing: • Handling all accounting procedures including payment processing and monthly billing. • Managing the collection process including resident letters and court appearances. • Preparing accounting and related management reports. • Assisting the Property Manager with tasks in relation to managing the properties. • Handling accounting related resident relations. What the Property Accountant will need to succeed: • Experience with Entrata or similar property accounting software preferred. • Excellent computer knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. • Strong interpersonal, written communication and mathematical skills. • Ability to organize and multi-task in a busy office environment. • College degree, particularly in accounting, preferred.
