The Transcript Specialist II position is responsible for, but not limited to: Accepting orders and processing transcript requests according to TROY Policy and Procedure Answering departmental phone, assisting with questions from students, faculty and staff, including via phone and walk-ins Directly serving students; performing duties related to central processing of transcripts Obtaining course descriptions, verifications and test scores Processing document imaging, to include, pulling files, entering into DI system, filing necessary imaged document Assisting and educating current and former students with the process of ordering transcripts and verifications online Processing of loan deferments and Education/Degree verifications All other tasks as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Minimum of two years of clerical office work experience 3. Proficient skill with personal computers and the use of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office products 4. Excellent typing and word processing skills 5. Great interpersonal relations and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications 1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree 2.
