Role Overview

As a Retail Merchandising Specialist II - Walmart - FLOATER at Acosta, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our client brands are prominently displayed and available in Walmart stores. Your role in executing merchandising tasks will facilitate customer access to the products they prefer at one of the largest retail chains globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work schedule may vary from Sunday to Saturday, based on location-specific needs.
  • Part-Time: Flexible hours, requiring 2-4 days of work (Friday is mandatory).
  • Start your shift between 6am-9am, with work hours from 6am to 6pm (no evening shifts).
  • Locate and organize merchandise in the backroom, ensuring products are stocked and displayed correctly.
  • Maintain product presentation on shelves.
  • Manage the transportation of promotional materials and signage to stores.
  • Utilize a company-issued mobile device to complete tasks and navigate multiple applications.
  • Follow step-by-step instructions on the mobile device to complete your work efficiently.
  • Document completed tasks with photographs to showcase your achievements.
  • Represent Acosta and its clients effectively in assigned Walmart locations.
  • Collaborate with Walmart management and staff to achieve objectives.
  • Communicate regularly with your direct manager through various channels.

  • Take ownership of your assigned store(s) and build strong relationships with Walmart staff.
  • Enjoy working independently while being a part of the Walmart team.
  • Communicate effectively with store personnel and Acosta team members.
  • Share best practices and support from the nationwide Walmart team through various communication methods.
  • Reach out to your manager for assistance with any in-store challenges.
  • Complete tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Adhere closely to instructions to ensure accuracy in your work.
  • Provide precise data and images by following the given guidelines.
  • Report your work on the same day it is completed.

  • Reliable transportation to travel between multiple retail locations as needed.
