Job Summary
As an Estimator, will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects, ensuring that all financial aspects are carefully considered and managed. This role is crucial in helping our company secure profitable projects while maintaining competitive pricing. What you do
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications as well as performing quality takeoffs for all scopes and trades.
  • Develop and prepare conceptual estimates with minimal assistance from subcontractors, using limited information.
  • Develop subcontract interest in projects and manage the subcontractor RFP process.
  • Develop high-quality subcontractor proposals, according to project specifics.
  • Itemize trade-specific scopes and prepare bid packages.
  • Review software-generated estimates for completion and technical accuracy and to ensure quality and integrity.
  • Interact with clients, architects, engineers, and local jurisdictions to understand and incorporate project objectives, schedules, permits, costs, etc.
  • Help construction team prepare job schedules.


Who You Are
  • Relevant commercial construction estimating experience, particularly in conceptual budgeting.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry practices, procedures, and market trends
  • Four-year degree in construction management or engineering or at least 5 years of related experience.


Nice to Have
  • Experience in commercial construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management
  • General Contractor's license or building license.
  • Other certifications in marine or healthcare related fields
