Ensure that safety is always the number one priority at Alexandria Industries; promote and support a safe work environment and safety oriented culture by following all safety programs and guidelines Accounts Payable Process invoices in the system software Reconcile invoice and price/receiving discrepancies Process invoice payments on a timely basis to maximize any discounts and/or cash flow. Work with vendors to resolve invoicing and payment issues File sales and use tax returns Maintain 1099 records and process 1099s at year end Administer the AP automation software Manage vendor setup and maintenance General Ledger/Other Prepare monthly bank reconciliations Maintain the fixed asset software MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education:

Associates degree in Accounting preferred

Experience:

1+ years of accounting experience preferred

Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite) Strong data entry skills Self-directed, able to take initiative and exercise independent judgment Must be a highly organized and self-motivated individual able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Willingness and ability to develop a working knowledge of Alexandria Industries’ business and facilities in support of the Company goals and initiatives Mature judgment and ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with professionalism Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to communicate with vendors and employees on a daily basis
