We are seeking a

Staff Accountant

to support a federal agency

through the performance of accounting support activities

.

This individual

will be working directly with

in

a group

t

o

accomplish

assigned tasks as

a part of a large overall contract including a variety of different workstreams.

As

team

member of the Advisory practice,

you will

be required

to execute the following tasks for our Federal Government client(s)

with

appropriate supervision

:

Perform routine accounting tasks associated with reconciling, posting, summarizing, and reporting financial transactions

.

Analyze and reconcile general ledger to subsidiary ledgers and/or between multiple data sources

.

Prepare and process accounting entries in the financial system

.

Analyze transactions and

assist

in the validation of

accrued

amounts / assumptions

.

Document procedures for tasks performed

.

Perform a variety of different analytical tasks

.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

or relat

ed

business

field from an accredited

u

niversity

.

1-

2 years of relevant experience

.

Strong

analytical

and

organizational skills

.

Proficiency

with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

.

Strong commitment to quality and integrit

y.

Security Clearance:

Must be able to pass a basic government suitability check (US Citizenship

required

)
