About the Lark APAC Commercial Team

We are responsible for planning and delivering market expansion across APAC and driving business strategies to create commercial impact for our global business. This includes developing & implementing commercial strategies and business plans that increase presence, brand recognition, and growth in the industries and countries within APAC where commercial traction exists, as well as exploring new areas where our product can move the needle and win.

Responsibilities

Define sales goals & strategies to deliver ARR targets across new business and renewals.

Enable high-growth in APAC (ex. China, ex. Japan) by building, managing & organizing a highly efficient and productive sales team, leveraging the optimal combination of inside sales, field sales, and partners to best serve prospects & customers.

Recruit, onboard, develop, motivate and retain high-performing and committed sales managers, account executives, business development representatives and partner managers.

Continually assess, clarify, and validate sales strategy and process. Track, measure and report on sales effectiveness and adjust programs and strategies as necessary.

Create a predictable sales model and drive accurate forecasting on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Collaborate with marketing on demand generation, including inbound and outbound programs to drive high conversion rates and efficient customer acquisition.

Work with cross-functional departments to ensure messaging alignment, operational coordination and evangelization of sales & partnerships strategy.

Create trusted CXO relationships and develop a deep understanding of needs/opportunities with strategic clients.

Be an ambassador for Lark tools and values at all times.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

15 years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience in SaaS / hi-tech / digital transformation, with 5+ years experience in sales leadership / management roles. Senior level experience in high-growth start-ups / scale-ups a strong plus.

Demonstrated modern sales leadership experience with high-growth direct sales teams (inside & field sales) and channel partnership teams.

Ability, interest and proven success in recruiting, enabling, empowering and coaching top sales talent & teams.

Successful track record of market entry / "first boots on the ground" in South East Asia, including building & iterating sales programs, messaging, metrics, methodology and tools.

In-depth knowledge, implementation and usage of various SaaS selling strategies and methods. Familiarity with MEDDPICC a strong plus.

Experience working across multiple cultures, with the ability and desire to navigate a global business landscape.

Excellent leadership, verbal & written communication, interpersonal & customer service skills.

Self-driven and highly geared towards original thinking as well as continuous improvement.

Strong professional and personal alignment to Bytedance's & Lark's values.
