Description

Coordinates and assists with various activities of the Human Resource Office in a confidential and professional manner, ensuring accordance with all applicable laws, policies and procedures. Reports to the Director of Human Resources, but also provides support to other members of the HR department, as needed.
Examples of Duties

  • Answer phones and first point of contact for front window.
  • Acts as a resource for college personnel.
  • Assists in matters of confidential nature, requiring discretion and judgement.
  • Supports the onboarding processes.
  • Prepare folders for all new hires (onboarding hiring packets and new hire orientations).
  • Collect absence reports and track areas that are delinquent.
  • Send monthly performance evaluation notices.
  • Pick up and distribute mail.
  • Confirm employment and classification for Tuition Waivers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the efficient operations of the department.
Typical Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background investigation.
Supplemental Information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associates degree
  • Proficiency with the Ellucian-Colleague system
  • Experience working in a community college setting

STATUS:
This is a part-time temporary position for up to 20-25 hours a week.
Work schedule is Monday through Friday.
