Client Service Representative

As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in delivering superior service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure their insurance needs are met promptly and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Policy Management: Assist clients with policy changes, updates, and renewals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Claims Assistance: Facilitate the claims process by gathering information from clients, submitting claims to insurance carriers, and providing updates on claim status.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve client issues and complaints promptly and effectively, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Client Education: Educate clients on insurance products, coverage options, and policy features to help them make informed decisions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed client records and documentation using our CRM system.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including sales, underwriting, and claims, to provide seamless service to clients.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies in all client interactions and transactions.
- Client Retention: Build strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and retention.
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address client concerns and find effective solutions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing client information and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Applied EPIC.
- Insurance producer license.
