The Client Experience Team at the Non-GMO Project is about cultivating, growing, and maintaining relationships with our verified brands and clients. What We're Looking For
We are looking for a passionate and driven Client Experience Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll help hold client relationships and monitor industry trends in our Product Verification Program. Specifically, you will be proactively building meaningful client relationships, and identifying educational and marketing opportunities for clients. This role includes relationship building, the ability to absorb and apply program knowledge, and an openness to ongoing development. We want a teammate committed to continually developing themselves alongside their team. The Client Experience Specialist will report directly to the Client Experience Manager and will work with the Client Experience (CX) Team to further develop our rapidly growing verification program.
Areas of Responsibility
Cultivate strong relationships with clients through proactive outreach, engagement, and evolving support
Proactively build technical knowledge of the natural food industry, genetic engineering, and agriculture
Identify needed project focuses and pursue program improvements
Deliver presentations to clients on the value of Non-GMO Project Verification
Develop client offerings and identify opportunities for client support and engagement
Work with the CX Team to support account management
Represent the organization, build client relations, and identify trends and at industry events
Provide education about the verification process, third-party service providers, the Non-GMO Project Standard, and the organization's mission
Utilize task management software to collaborate with team members, efficiently respond to clients, and gather program data

Legally authorized to work in the U.S
Experience You Bring
We place a high value on lived experience coupled with professional experience.
Associate or undergraduate degree OR equivalent work experience
1-3 years of experience providing direct client-facing support or relationship building
A demonstrated interest in food systems, the natural products industry, and the GMO issue
Proficiency working in a CRM, database systems, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
Current Benefit Package
Health, vision, and dental insurance includes a wide range of medical insurance options to choose from. The Project contributes a flat rate ($420) towards employee premiums which covers the base-level HSA medical plan in full. Employees have the option to opt into more robust plans at a slightly higher premium.
