Remote Job
Salary : $40-45 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, identify, and address communication delays and speech-language impairments with school-age children; conduct screenings to determine communication differences versus speech disorders.
- Screen and evaluate students to develop individualized service plans (ISP) for students in private placements within District boundaries.
- Assist students with meeting performance standards of the School District and State by defining students roles and responsibilities and ensuring appropriate services are available.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEP) and goals for students; report data to Medicaid Coordinator for billing purposes.
- Participate and complete consultations on transitions from the Arizona Early Intervention Program.
- Provide support to teachers; provide materials, support, and intervention assistance.
- Attend and participate in IEP/multidisciplinary evaluation team (MET) and parent/teacher conferences.
- Consult with educational assistants, general education teachers, and social workers as needed.
- Participate in continuing education to maintain appropriate certifications and stay abreast of trends and developments.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
