Collaborative, enthusiastic art director/ACD with a great eye and aesthetic who is looking for an opportunity to create eye-catching and engaging creative for Shutterfly. This person is skilled at bringing concepts to life through execution in various marketing channels and platforms. Should have a portfolio that demonstrates experience creating campaign ideas, strong design aesthetic appropriate for each client and work that creatively solves problems. Ideal candidate as an art director with production experience across photography and video over a range of budgets. We dig people who are proactive, have a strong attention to detail and are interested in helping make Shutterfly’s work the most enviable in the category. You should have the ability to own projects through final execution, including creating strong relationships with key partners. Should have knowledge of key design software (we are figma friendly), aptitude to photo art direct and give retouching and editorial direction. Bonus points for experience in retail/ecommerce.

About the Role:

This ACD works within the Shutterfly Creative Campaign Team to collaboratively brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute key projects across channels as identified. This role

collaborates closely with our Integrated Marketing team to deliver thoughtful, inspired solutions that engage customers and lead to clicks and conversions. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively from concept to execution—define and bring to life the creative vision, bringing groundbreaking creative ideas and solutions to the table Work comfortably with greater Shutterfly Brand, Marketing, Channel and Merchandise Partners Can bring ideas to life via sketches and photo art direction, in addition to design Active participation in project kickoffs, asking insightful questions to gain detail, clarification and alignment with Business Partners Lead innovative thinking, championing better ways to deliver on internal client requests Confidently present ideas and concepts to Creative Directors and internal clients (Marketing & Business Partners) with a spirit of collaboration Juggle a mix oflong-term andquick-turnaround projects, often with overlapping priorities and urgency Show professionalism in all aspects of your daily tasks, including taking feedback and edits with grace and positivity Be self-motivated Continually adopt new tools and practices as the work evolves Manage work tasks, functions and time sheet using department’s project management tool Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Graphic Arts, Advertising or Fine Arts highly preferred, but will accept additional experience in lieu of formal education 8+ years’ experience with a minimum 1 year within retail/ecommerce preferred Portfolio to showcase your skills Hands-on experience designing across a variety of marketing channels Expert Adobe CC and Figma skills a must Fundamental knowledge of typography, grid systems, design systems, brand systems, color theory, and composition Agencyexperience preferred Track record working with loved brands Great eye and aesthetic that compliments and elevates the Shutterfly brand Understanding and knowledge of advertising technology and digital marketing solutions Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects simultaneously Be self-motivated and a thoughtful, yet quickproblem solver Patience and infectious, positive attitudewith a collaborative approach Low ego, balanced with confidence and a healthy sense of personal drive, ambition and ownership A great attitude and flexibility towards business and its ever-changing, sometimes ambiguous nature Sense of humor and the ability to have fun doing what you love Supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce is important to Shutterfly not only because it directly reflects our value of Embracing our Differences, but also because it’s the right thing to do for our business and for our people.
