The Opportunity:

That is why we need you, an experienced Product Advisor to lead and manage product owners responsible for a large portfolio of products and provide strategic leadership and direction to the product teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet the business objectives and provide the customer with a delightful experience. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and a deep understanding of agile methodologies.

As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical consultant to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. You'll work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. You'll leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support of senior ARPA-H decision makers. Maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commercialization of successfully developed technologies.

You'll serve as a Product Advisor helping clients to develop stakeholder management strategies, establish new business processes, and complete research and analysis to determine viable solutions. You will be responsible for managing incoming requirements, facilitating engagements within offices and across the agency, and be readily available to shift your focus to fulfill emerging client requests. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client's mission, and problem-solving will enable the mission's success.

What You'll Work On:
  • Lead a team of Product Owners covering a portfolio of 40+ products
  • Provide leadership to the IT product team
  • Drive a customer-centric product function that starts with why and delivers delightful products
  • Serve as a product SME and drive the implementation of best practices to understand customer needs, determine product strategies, produce product roadmaps, and drive product execution, including identification of personas, requirements, epics, user stories, and tasks

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in product leadership or product roles such as technical product manager, director of product, or VP of product
  • Experience leading product teams in an agile environment
  • Experience with startups, program management, and software engineering
  • Experience interacting and communicating with senior-level executives, including SES or GS-15
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to operate independently within a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
