Must be able to read write and understand English 3 years' experience in a related position involving inventory control, stock ordering and receiving. required-skills: Office Services: Supervises assigned Office Services staff and operations of the unit, assigns and re-arranges jobs as needed. Ensures Office Services SOPs are accurate, up to date, and there is cross training within all applicable functional areas. Manages and operates the Employee Sales Center. Helps ensuring it's running efficiently and it's up to date with new operating practices. Coordinates usage and maintenance of Valencia building pool vehicles in accordance with the fleet policy under the guidance of the fleet administrator. Manages inventory (ordering, receiving, stocking, delivering and/or shipping) of general office supplies. Places other orders for individuals or departments as needed. Processes department invoices, including purchase order creation in appropriate accounting system. Ensures first aid kits and hand sanitizer dispenser throughout the building are maintained and stocked. Ensures Stocks and maintains pantries/kitchen with soap, hand cleaner, sponges, etc.; primary contact for coffee machines repairs and coffee supplies. Maintains, tracks and schedules service including cleaning on ice machines, refrigerators and microwaves; replaces filters in refrigerators as needed. Check meeting rooms to make sure there is enough seating. Runs errands, provide refreshments for meetings and performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Coordinates lunchroom vendor orders, supplies, and obtains lunchroom product feedback. Manages the building Holiday Fruit program as needed. Back-up for Legal Assistant with regard to file storage pick up and deliveries. Coordinates with document shredding vendor for bin pickups each month; monitors bins and redistributes contents if filled up; processes invoices for payment and maintains the certificate of destruction for each service request. Building Services: Serves as a point of contact for the building services management company, its staff, and vendors including the day and night shift janitorial and the maintenance staff. As needed, acts as middle person helping employees in the building submit maintenance requests to the building management company and vice versa, answering their concerns and making recommendations. Observes and reports building conditions to ensure that all lights, exit signs, doors, windows, etc. are functioning properly. Assists with facilities projects, such as office moves; organizes installments and orders furniture. Assembles small office equipment/furniture. As needed, assists and requests assistance from the maintenance person assigned to the building for either regular or ad hoc jobs that may require two or more members. Other: Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. Are you looking to make some money on the side?
