Accounts Payable Assistant:
Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for managing financial transactions? Our Non-Profit client is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our dedicated team and support their mission. This role is fully onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
  • Verify and reconcile invoices and expense reports.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Maintain vendor files and handle inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
