About the Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist Position:

They are seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join their team.  
 
Essential Functions for the Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist:
  • The Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist will process incoming invoices from vendors, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and other related documents for proper coding and approvals.
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and updated vendor records and files.
  • Generate and send out invoices to clients or customers in a timely manner.
  • Post payments to appropriate accounts.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable balances and follow up on past due payments.
  • Reconcile payments and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports on Accounts Receivable status for management review.
Preferred Requirements for the Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist must possess the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Detail oriented.

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
