Provides financial guidance to management through the analysis of products, operations, capital requests and strategic projects. Supports cross-functional projects and teams by identifying benefits and costs.

Essential Functions

Develops, coordinates, and conducts control self-monitoring training. Designs applications and automates manual processes Challenges and creates policies and procedures for various departments. Designs, develops and executes self-audit applications to identify control weaknesses and compliance reporting. Develops and implements solutions that significantly improve the internal control environment. Leads and challenges Sarbanes-Oxley documentation, performs testing, and assists with corrective actions. Maintains strong internal control and regulatory awareness. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Economics, Criminology, or related field.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years’ experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit or operational analysis.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.

Verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information.

Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals.

Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.

Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.

Knowledge of financial analysis applying common financial metrics and methodologies (i.e., Return on Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV), allocation and fixed/variable methodologies).
