Support maintenance of EHS Risk Register with annual updates. Assist with leading and lagging EHS Metrics tracking. Lead on-site lab related safety meetings and trainings. Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs including but not limited to: o Chemical Hygiene o Emergency Action Plano Bloodborne Pathogens o Hazard Communication o Ergonomics o Personal Protective Equipment EHS Training Conduct site specific EHS and lab safety training for new hires, oversee recordkeeping for associated trainings Assist with external and internal audits and regulatory inspections, assist in developing and implementing corrective actions Coordinate and administer annual EHS safety and compliance trainings, evacuation drills, and safety team meetings. Requirements / Qualifications: Understanding of EHS and regulatory compliance concepts Willingness to promote health and safety in a close-knit research environment Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-functional teamwork skills Proficient communication, presentation, and writing skills Proficient technical writing and Microsoft office suite skills Ability to commute to South San Francisco, CA. and be on-site 5 days a week
