Position Summary
Our client, Solar Technology is seeking a versatile HR Manager to lead and administer all human resources functions throughout the organization. With a dedicated workforce of 94 individuals spread across various states, they are committed to nurturing a culture founded on principles of respect, innovation, safety, and excellence. In our pursuit of the ideal candidate, preference will be given to those with manufacturing experience and a fervent dedication to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all team members.
The future incumbent will be responsible for aligning HR strategies with their business objectives, maintaining ISO certification standards, supporting the company's mission to advance sustainable energy solutions, and demonstrating proficiency in leveraging technology to optimize HR processes and enhance overall organizational efficiency.
As their HR Manager, you will:
- Spearhead HR operations with empathy and expertise, ensuring fairness and equality in all interactions.
- Develop and implement HR policies that promote a positive work environment and align with ISO certification standards.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management, providing guidance and support on HR matters.
- Stay up-to-date on compliance requirements and ensure their practices reflect their commitment to fairness and equality.
- Standardize and lead the recruitment process for all positions within the organization, including sourcing, vetting, and onboarding top talent.
- Develop strategies for talent retention and employee development, including training programs and performance management initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (bonus points for an MBA with an HR focus). HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with a balanced blend of empathy and equality, and a focus on compliance.
- Experience or a strong inclination toward working in a family-owned business environment, particularly within manufacturing or related sectors, coupled with a genuine passion for products that uphold human safety and well-being.
- Tech-savvy with experience in HRIS and payroll systems.
