Responsibilities

Scope of the Role

The Enrollment Communication Leader will drive enrollments in two ways – first by serving as the primary point of contact with our Business Solutions clients for all matters relating to enrollment communication and education. And secondly, by supporting Broker Relationship Team in their enrollment communication and education activities.

Performance Outcomes

Serve as the primary client (and broker) point of contact for employee communication and enrollment activities for high potential Business Solutions clients. Support Broker Relationship Team through methodical identification of enrollment opportunities among their client base and providing operational support to ensure effective execution. Most importantly, to prioritize and schedule client planning discussions in advance of upcoming Open Enrollment to ensure we provide communication and enrollment content and activities that are appropriately tailored to the audience and impactful. Drive broker and client’s adoption of communication and education activities that occur throughout the year to increase employee enrollment at decision time (I.e., Open Enrollment or immediately for “Evergreen” cases) Identify and promote communication and enrollment best practices to broker and clients. Understand and adapt communication and enrollment recommendations based on the client’s Benefit Administration platform and current benefit processes. Identify communication content needs and serve as subject matter expert to assist marketing in their development. Content includes but is not limited to - flat sheets, benefit descriptions, website, mobile apps, video, digital, IM, and banners. Stay abreast of emerging marketplace trends and advocate for appropriate PPLSI response. Provide analysis and reporting to management.

Education, Knowledge, And Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing (or similar) preferred. 1-3 years business experience preferred. Employee benefits experience a plus. A proactive, resourceful, and self-directed work style required Team oriented. Strong persuasive writing skills. Strong verbal communication skills. Strong project management abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Physical and Mental Requirements/ Work Environment

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Sedentary work. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive screen time.

Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality is required Travel up to 3 weeks may be required Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to regularly lift, carry, and otherwise move up to 15 pounds at times and occasionally up to 30 pounds Occasional domestic travel (Estimated 3-5 times per year for 1-3 days)
