Summary:

The Active Aging Facility Host will provide service and information to visitors and members at the facility welcome/check-in area by greeting and assisting visitors/members with information about program services, membership enrollment, arranging for classes and collection of membership fees.

Work Environment: Front Welcoming Desk of Active Aging.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for greeting and assisting visitors with information about program services, membership enrollment
* Responsible for arranging for class scheduling assistance
* Collects membership fees
* Works with program staff of multi-disciplinary departments
- Prepares and sells shakes, bottled drinks and other merchandise
- Explains program concepts to inquirers
* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types
- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner
- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made
- Greets and engages with a smile
- Determines and meets needs
- Seeks positive experience and outcomes
* Coordinates personal trainer sessions and class schedules for staff
* Maintain schedule of the daily activities of program services offered to participants
* Maintain computer and hard files of participants, obtain and update information as indicated by business software when customer checks in on computer system
* Maintain adequate contacts and cooperative agreements with other staff or program participants to perform daily functions of exercise or incentive programs
* Receive telephone and in person inquiries. Direct calls and callers based on knowledge of the Chickasaw Nation Tribal Health Programs
* Resolve any customer concerns speedily and effectively. Explain program concepts to inquirers
* Receive and screen telephone calls for staff. Maintain phone log and take messages for staff to limit interruptions to their class sessions
* Assemble data and compile monthly report to Manager's office. Compile routine or periodic reports. Submit special reports and information
* Receive and read incoming correspondence and distribute where indicated
* Ensure adequate equipment and supplies required are maintained and appropriate
* Answer routine inquiries and make appropriate referral of questions concerning customer needs
* Maintain liaison between participants and program
* Arrange for meetings and conferences
* Performs all other duties as assigned
