Salary Range: $25.835 to $32.295 per hour commensurate with experience (equivalent to $53,726.40 to $67,173.60 per year).

Job Purpose:

Assist in conducting effective compliance testing and monitoring processes across various business areas within OUC's Financial & Support Services, including the gathering of testing data, performing testing and analyses, and reporting of testing results to management. Support internal control reviews and documentation. Support other compliance projects as needed.

Primary Functions:
  • Assist in conducting periodic compliance monitoring and testing;
  • Review transactions to ensure activities are in compliance with OUC policies and procedures;
  • Utilize data analytics tools to generate compliance testing data;
  • Identify errors, gaps and trends in testing results and communicate discrepancies to management;
  • Document issues and findings in testing work papers and compliance reports;
  • Perform process walkthroughs and create flowcharts and narratives;
  • Develop creative and compliant solutions to assist in resolving complex issues;
  • Follow up with business units on compliance issues and corrective actions;
  • Support the development of additional operational reports and monitoring procedures;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Technical Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of all, but not limited to, the following:
  • General business operations such as accounting, payroll, purchasing, and payment processing;
  • Compliance, operational/financial risks, and internal control frameworks;
  • Software and applications for data analysis, reporting and visualization;
  • Organizational and departmental policies, practices, and procedures;
  • Government and industry related guidelines, rules, requirements;
  • Ability to analyze and make decisions using complex data;
  • Demonstrate analytical, organizational and problem solving skills;
  • Capable of working independently as well as within a team environment;

  • Must have strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills (such as IF statements, VLOOKUP function, Pivot Table and Pivot Chart).
Education/ Certification/ Years of Experience Requirements:
