  • Job Summary:
As the Greeter and Social Media Coordinator for the store, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support, while helping coordinate social media production and assets for a variety of platforms. You will often be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and vendors while ensuring a positive experience and efficient office operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Duties:

-Provides outstanding customer service to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership.

-Greet every customer with a positive enthusiastic attitude.

-Purchase supplies and manage certain vendor accounts for dealership

-Transfer calls to correct extensions.

-Email phone messages to employees.

-Assist in stock in all new and used vehicles and make inventory jackets.

-Creates a library of social media assets, including video, photos, audio and text.

-Works with sales and service staff to produce individual assets.

-Edit assets for publishing on Social Media platforms such as Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, etc.

-Coordinates delivery of media to third party providers

-Change status of inventory in DMS system daily as status changes.

-Scan Service files and accounting files daily

-Fill out loaner agreements and track loaner cars daily.

-Fill out Fast Trak violations and send in and scan copies to the system for the records.

-Remains current in required training as defined by the Human Resource department. Participates in personal safety programs and training.

-Promptly reports all accidents and injuries (employees and customers) to the General Manager and the Controller. Promptly reports all lot damage and property damage to the General Manager and Controller.

-Ensures that all privacy acts protected documents and electronic files are always secure.

-Maintains professional appearance.

Requirements

- Proven experience in an automotive dealership in a customer service role is preferred

- Knowledge and experience using Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube in a marketing capacity preferred

- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Tools preferred e.g. Premiere, Photoshop, Acrobat

- Strong communication skills both verbal and written

- Proficiency in using office equipment such as printers, scanners, and phone systems

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

- Customer-oriented approach with a friendly demeanor

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work flexible hours as needed. Must be able to work flexible schedule (opening shifts, closing shifts, and holidays)

-Capable of performing physical tasks such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting in various weather conditions.

-May have to work in a noisy environment and in inclement weather conditions.

-Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Stand, walk or sit for long periods of time without resting.
