Division Credit Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Manager to join our team.
The candidate must have a strong desire to work in a sales and marketing environment with minimum of 5 years of credit experience. The primary role of the Credit Manager is to maximize sales, while protecting the assets of the company. As a Credit Manager, you will be responsible for managing the overall credit risk of a division, ensuring that credit policies and procedures are implemented effectively. The candidate will have demonstrated success of leadership in a team environment and be able to coordinate efforts with our Credit Office and Profit Centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. Some overnight travel is required. CED, established in 1957

Responsibilities
Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Develop and implement credit policies and procedures
Monitor and evaluate credit risk exposure
Review and approve credit limits and terms
Investigate and resolve any credit-related issues or disputes
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in credit regulations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Proven experience in credit management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Manage and reduce bad debt
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to make sound business decisions
Proficient in financial analysis software
Knowledge of bond claim rights for public projects
Knowledge of mechanic lien rights for private projects
Ability to review and understand financials
Monitor and investigate customer disputes
Produce periodical reports related to customer credit
