Liaising with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care. Patient/Family rounding, handle complaints or other issues Respond to unusual events, emergencies (Cardiac arrest alert, STEMI Calls, Code Sepsis, Rapid Response) and acts as advisor, assists as necessary Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff; facilitates an atmosphere of interactive leadership and development of collegial relationships amongst all team members. Excellent communication skills, flexibility, clinically competent and able to make decisions quickly. Lead and collaborate with all levels of staff through difficult decisions, allocation of staff resources and patient placement. Ability to effectively handle issues and remain calm in stressful situations and accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new, different or unassigned Required Skills and Experience: New York State Registered Nurse Licensee Preferred Skills and Experience: Baccalaureate Degree 2 years leadership experience BLS, ACLS and Pals Physical Requirements: Walking and standing for long periods of time, lifting, carrying supplies and equipment. Location and Travel Requirements: Onsite Pay Range Disclosure: $37.80 to $47.21 per hour
