We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Director of Leisure Sales to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort opening team

This role is focused on luxury leisure agencies, local accounts, and Residential, Villa and Suite rental sales. The Director of Leisure Sales will effectively familiarize and grow all current Pier Sixty-Six leisure consortia, luxury Hotel collection programs and boutique agencies as well as maintain rapport with individual high-net worth repeat guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals as designated by the Executive Director of Sales & Marketing
  • Educate and familiarize all Luxury Consortia key advisors, owners & managers with Pier Sixty-Six
  • Maintain hotel relationships with key accounts to increase customer satisfaction and account revenue for Luxury Consortia Travel Advisor, Boutique Luxury Agencies, Individual and Suite clientele
  • Collaborate with CoralTree Global Sales office to identify opportunity for Global Negotiated Accounts, Corporate Consortia, Wholesale, and internal programs (Soulmates)
  • Negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue while satisfying clients needs
  • Monitor production of all Luxury Consortia, Luxury wholesale programs and Boutique Agency Accounts, as well as Individual and Suites clientele and evaluate trends within the luxury leisure industry
  • Lead and manage the RFP process for Luxury Consortia, wholesale, local corporate and National Corporate accounts
  • Solicit and promote the hotel to local accounts to include but not be not limited to: Relocation/renovation companies, real estate for temporary housing, interior designers, hospitals, local companies, cruise industry companies and others
  • Show initiative and resourcefulness in developing Individual guest room as well as Residential, Villa and Suite rental sales to increase market share, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with all relevant departments in preparation for VIP Residential, Villa and Suite rental clientele arrival and experience
  • Actively solicits new business through outside client visits, entertaining and appointments.
  • Implement special promotions relating to the Luxury Consortia and wholesale, and Suite sales segments
  • Conduct thorough site inspections of the hotel with clients, exhibiting key features and benefits of the property
  • Proactively engage clients off-property via office visits, industry events and client entertainment
  • Manage and solicit VIP Entertainment business segment
  • Attend networking leisure agency tradeshows and promotional events which may include extensive travel, in order to develop networking opportunities through active participation and events
  • Knowledgeable of all VIP guests and communicates to the team all needs of the guests
  • Curates a personalized and meaningful experience for the Residence, Villa, Suite, Individual guest room and repeat guest.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of hotel leisure sales experience required.
  • Travel as needed to luxury trade shows, roadshows and sales missions
  • Navigate through Consortia/Boutique Agencies industry contacts with knowledge of the market
  • Multi-task and effectively and efficiently prospect, sell, cultivate relationships with repeat Residence, Villa and Suite rental
  • Work with VIP celebrity and high net worth individuals delicately and ensuring their confidentiality
  • Efficiently work with Microsoft Office programs including Office, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Work independently and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with other departments and employees
