Must have basic Point-of-sale knowledge (Preferably NCR Aloha). An individual who has excellent written and oral communication skills. Capable of prioritizing and has the potential to multi-task. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze different types of issues and automation failures. Meet timelines and minimize disruption to partner teams, proactively managing schedule and risks. Ability to adapt to changing procedures, environments, and tools in the QA space. Accelerate progress by driving timely decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating appropriately. Partner closely with the engineering teams to replicate and resolve issues. Ability to work independently as well as in a team, seeking guidance as needed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or a combination of education and experience. Minimum of 8+ years of professional QA Automation Engineer experience. Hands-on experience coding in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent language. Experience with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) libraries, tools like Tesseract, OCRopus, etc. Experience working with different Voice AI tools like Murf AI, ElevenLab, etc. Good understanding of e-commerce applications and architecture to assist in troubleshooting. Technical aptitude to understand system architecture and follow how the various components interact. Must have basic knowledge and experience working with Aloha Software products or equivalent Point of Sale system. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments.
