Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for identifying candidates for The Jacobson Group's Temporary Staffing division. This individual actively recruits by creatively sourcing leads, cold calling, networking, and building pipelines. They engage candidates for the respective positions, facilitate the recruitment process throughout the candidate lifecycle, and ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience. Additionally, they collaborate closely with internal client advisors to understand client's needs and provide top talent.

Responsibilities
  • The recruiter is responsible for end-to-end management of their candidates from initial identification, thorough screening, interview preparations and debriefs, offer and onboarding and ultimately management of the candidate throughout their temporary assignments. The recruiter also is responsible for pipelining and redeploying their candidates for other projects.
  • Sources candidates through various channels, including job boards, professional organizations, social media, referrals and our internal database (Bullhorn).
  • Conduct phone and/or video interviews with candidates to qualify candidates' skills and culture fit.
  • Effectively handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
  • Manages multiple searches and presents viable candidates to applicable internal sales or management staff and/or client contact(s).
  • Manages candidates through the client interview process by prepping, debriefing and touching base with their candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Conducts candidate talent check ins while they are on their project/assignment.
  • Enter viable candidates and information into the internal candidate/client database, corporate database; update and document all contact activities in database.
  • Achieve weekly, quarterly and annual objectives and metrics for the fulfillment process.
  • Maintain pipeline of past, potential and current candidates.
  • Manages job postings for their open positions.
  • Engage in quarterly projects as assigned and delegate project work as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting
  • 2+ years experience sourcing active and passive candidates.
  • Experience with Boolean search strings and utilizing a variety of tools and job boards.
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system (Bullhorn preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a high-volume environment
  • Skilled in presenting candidates' backgrounds and experiences to internal clients.
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Motivated by results and professional success.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Natural sense of urgency.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Demonstrated persistence and tenacity.
