Bring your skills to the 2020 Kenworth Dealer of the Year Truck Enterprises, Inc. along with Kenworth Sales Co., a 35-location Kenworth and Isuzu truck dealership group, is looking for a Parts Counter Sales Representative (2nd Shift) to join our Harrisonburg, VA team.Job Summary:Handle internal and external customer requests for parts purchases, both in person and on the telephone.** Due to federally mandated DOT regulations, Truck Enterprises/Kenworth Sales Company is a drug-free workplace. Any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screening.Duties and Responsibilities:Wait on customers or mechanics at parts counter or on the phoneResearch customers' requests and needs where necessary and determine correct part(s) neededIf part(s) is in stock produce invoice from computer system, if not in stock and customer wants to order, create Purchase Order and process ordersCheck in orders and receive Purchase Orders in the business systemAssist with inventory and core returns to vendors, including pulling, packing, and shippingRestock shelves and maintain parts bins, i.e., rearranging parts, cleaning, labeling, etc.Delivery of parts to customers as the need arisesAssist with annual parts inventory physical count, to include actual physical counting of parts, tallying of counts, etc.Assist Parts Manager with miscellaneous tasksComplete all required job related trainingQualifications:2 years heavy duty truck parts experienceMechanical aptitude desirableUnderstanding of office procedures, to include filing, correspondence, and basic accountingKnowledge of bills of lading, freight bills, heavy and medium duty diesel truck partsExcellent organization and communication skillsA valid driver's license and good driving recordProfessional personal appearanceComputer terminal data input and 10 key calculator and minimal computer aptitude desirable Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and informationHigh school diploma or the equivalentBENEFITS:Truck Enterprises, Inc. promotes a progressive environment with an emphasis on teamwork, customer service, training and personal development.Stability - Company is financially strong with an established base of customers and is well-positioned for continued expansion.History of Excellence - Work for an award-winning dealership with a reputation for unsurpassed quality and customer service.Excellent compensation and benefits package including comprehensive Health and Dental insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) with FLEX Card, Group Life Insurance, Short Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance, Voluntary Life Insurance, Corporate Holidays, Paid Vacation and Personal Leave, 401(k) plan with company match, and Voluntary Supplemental Insurance plans.Veterans are encouraged to applyAbout the company:TEI is part of the Transport Equipment Company, a family of companies based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
