Description

UnisLink is seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Support Coordinator to join our team. As the essential support to the Head of Human Resources, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth HR operations, troubleshooting issues, and keeping us compliant across a multi-state workforce. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of HR in implementing HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, performance and development.
  • Assist in the administration of day-to-day HR activities, including onboarding, offboarding, employee record maintenance and benefits administration.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system (Paylocity).
  • Provide assistance to resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee payroll-related inquiries, providing clear, timely support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, from managing unemployment claims to registering in new states.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide timely and accurate information regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in addressing employee concerns and resolving workplace issues in collaboration with the Head of HR.
  • Proactively resolve administrative and system issues, collaborating with vendors and tracking tasks through completion for seamless HRIS, payroll, and benefits processes.
  • Coordinate open enrollment periods and communicate benefits information to employees.
  • FMLA & ADA Administration (i.e., manage leave requests, track accommodations, and handle required paperwork while maintaining regulatory compliance.)
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes and scheduling interviews for the hiring team.
  • Coordinate and manage new hire orientation and training programs.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding including completion of background checks, all new hire paperwork (I-9 documentation, etc.), and compliance training.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information with discretion.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multi-state environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS Systems (Paylocity is a bonus) and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven customer service-orientated approach.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a high attention to detail for resolving issues in systems and vendor management.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to share information effectively, while paying careful attention to concerns and questions from employees and candidates.
  • Flexible, assertive, team player who is willing to help out wherever needed to achieve the company's aggressive goals.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices and employment laws
  • Experience working with a remote workforce
