Key Responsibilities: Cost Analysis and Reporting:

Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to manufacturing costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights.

Variance Analysis:

Perform variance analysis to understand the differences between actual and budgeted/forecasted costs. Investigate and report on significant variances, providing actionable recommendations.

Inventory Management:

Oversee the valuation and reconciliation of inventory accounts. Implement and maintain effective inventory control processes. Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels.

Standard Costing:

Develop and maintain standard costing models for products. Update and revise standard costs as needed, considering changes in production processes and material costs.

Financial Planning and Budgeting:

Work closely with the finance team to contribute to the annual budgeting process. Provide input and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Compliance and Internal Controls:

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. Establish and maintain effective internal controls related to manufacturing costs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with production, supply chain, and finance teams to gather and analyze relevant data. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on cost-related goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. 3+ years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, cost analysis, and financial reporting. Strong proficiency in ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.
