The Second City Training Centre, which includes the Second City Film School, is the largest school of improvisation on the planet, with locations in Chicago, Toronto and New York . About the team and role When businesses engage Second City Works, they develop unique insights and skills to better collaborate and create with their colleagues and customers. Engagements with our clients can take a variety of forms: workshops, keynotes, customized video s , corporate entertainment, and more. We are adding to our sales team to expand our impact and match market demand for our solutions . As a Senior Client Partner, you will be an individual contributor, selling products and professional services across the entire Second City Works portfolio. You will be responsible for growing a book of business through both net-new clients and “same-store” growth . As a result, you will need experience both landing new clients as well as expanding your reach within existing clients. Because we know our unique product, services and uncanny delivery will exceed all expectations, one of the main priorities of th is role is to educate prospective customers about the unique value proposition attach e d to Second City’s offering s and quickly identifying the fit between our offerings and a client’s needs. You will have direct client alignment to evaluate and understand their needs and make offerings with your product knowledge. You will be the primary influencer specifically in prospecting and qualifying phases and those who match well to this role excel at uncovering opportunities, articulating conceptual ideas, recognizing patterns, and collaborating internally as well as they do with clients. This role will be based in Second City’s headquarters at 1616 N Wells Street, Chicago. This is a full-time, exempt role. The salary range is $85,000 USD base with an On-Target Earnings of $170,000 USD. Primary Responsibilities Identify , engage with and close Fortune 1000 clients, uncovering opportunities where Second City Works could be a strategic long-term partner . Educate prospects on SCW: who we are, our capabilities, and how we are uniquely equipped to improve engagement and connection with any business’s employees or customers Manage all phases of the sales lifecycle across a variety of sales scenarios (new prospects, re-activations, growth within existing accounts) Partner with Client Services and Creative Talent to customize client programs and solutions, ensuring that we deliver on our promises Qualifications 7+ years of consistent sales success, with the majority of annual quota ($1 .5 M+) coming from new business . Experience selling products or services to Fortune 1000 leaders, navigating multiple stakeholders across an organization . Experience with complex enterprise-level selling strategies and growing accounts from within. Successful experience selling within the talent/HR/learning category as a trusted advisor to senior human capital/talent management leaders Proven reliability to self-manage schedule, targets and timelines Communication skills that make other people envious; collaboration skills that make teammates thankful . Demonstrated sales success due to inquisitiveness, resilience and/or likeability. Preferably all 3.
