Description
Rothman Orthopaedics is looking for a Surgical Charge Entry Biller to join our team The Surgical Charge Entry Biller is responsible for inputting all surgical charges. If you are qualified for and interested in this role, please apply.
Job Title: Surgical Charge Entry Biller
Hours: Mon - Fri: 8am - 4:30pm (will work 40 hrs/wk)
Location: 833 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA
- on-site training required; will work remotely after training
- High school diploma or GED minimum education requirement
- Must have 2+ years of billing experience in a healthcare organization
- Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office Suite and EMR system(s)
- Maintain two day lag time, daily total by biller, daily audit of consults and first assists
- Reviews surgical billing for accuracy in coding.
- Provides assistance with physician education on billing and coding accuracy.
- Reviews surgical schedules and charges submitted for accuracy and complete submission of charges.
- Reviews charges (surgical) with codes for unbundling in coordination with contracts.
- Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
