Customer Service Representative role at Signature requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Signature's Customer Service Representatives are the face of the company, interacting with visitors and coworkers in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner. They ensure concierge and other services are handled promptly and correctly, and provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of Signature's customers. Key responsibilities include: Providing a friendly welcome to Signature and ensuring customer service needs are met Collaborating with coworkers, customers, and visitors to ensure efficient and accurate transfer of information Increasing customer satisfaction by understanding and addressing customer needs Responding to vendor, customer, and team member questions and concerns Accurately receiving, dispatching, and processing customer purchases and fuel transactions Maintaining a working knowledge of Signature's facilities, services, and surrounding areas Replenishing complementary beverages and supplies Enforcing good cleanliness practices and taking corrective actions as needed Providing concierge services, including arranging reservations and assisting with luggage Assisting pilots with access to airport and weather information Abiding by emergency response procedures and recommending improvements to Signature's standards and procedures Requirements include: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Minimum of 18 years of age A valid state license is required where applicable A professional appearance Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and receive an airport security badge Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions Ability to perform simple arithmetic and read small print Preferred qualifications include: Three to six months experience in aviation, FBO, hospitality, customer service, or a related field Knowledge of radio procedures and protocols Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors, including skill sets, education, shift worked, responsibilities, seniority, geographical market, merit, output, productivity, prior training or experience, and travel. The pay range for this position is $21.50 to $24.00 per hour. Certain functions may be performed in varying weather and environmental conditions, including precipitation, extreme temperatures, jet engine fumes, dust, and noise. Regular and reliable in-person and timely attendance for shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required. Ability to read, understand, and comply with all company policies, safety and ethical procedures, and relevant laws, regulations, orders, and the like is essential. Clearly communicating in English with others in person, via telephone, radio communicators, and in writing is required. Ability to detect phishing attempts and avoid attempts by others to infiltrate the Company computer network through practicing safe computer use and complying with company IT policies is essential. Independently and proactively anticipating customer needs, performing open job tasks, and speaking up and/or pointing out observed safety concerns to all stakeholders is required. Proficiency in computer operations, internet, email, Word, and typing, with an ability to learn new software, is essential. Ability to work well as part of a team, get along with others, understand and follow lawful directions and instructions the first time, follow all company policies and procedures, and ask questions to clarify instructions is required. Ability to handle stressful situations and high-profile clientele with poise, effectiveness, confidentiality, and professionalism, and always with a sense of cultural awareness and sensitivity, is essential. Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously, lift light to moderately heavy items, and read small print is required.
