to join their

Mid-Atlantic team based in Chevy Chase, MD.

You will be joining a

solid team of experienced technicians. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for another experienced facilities technician that is interested in a long-term position to fill this key role.

You will live

onsite in company provided housing, with rent and utilities 100% company paid for a two bedroom, two bath condo in an upscale complex.

Chief Building Engineers

are focused on service and delivering long-term technical solutions for our clients. They maintain, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance.

Summary of Job Functions:
Maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including: mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls) electrical (lighting, generators, primary switch gear, UPS systems), monitors operation, adjusts, and maintains refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; pumps, valves, piping and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment; record readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.
Requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required.
Responsible for keeping records of buildings rounds and readings, all engineering logs and engineering data sheets.
Responsible for advance training and notification to all contractors so that they are informed and knowledgeable with respects to the building's critical functions and the work they are to perform, including an incident contact response list.
Monitors operations and conducts a routine and on-going assessment of the building systems operations and performance.
Performs tests and rounds to ensure the proper functioning of building equipment.
Performs tenant/building request duties.
Performs additional job duties as requested.
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications

:
Demonstrated ability to develop rapport and productive working relationships with clients, vendors, and co-workers.
Well-rounded background as a Journeyman level facilities technician
Values and display exceptional customer service
Strong organization skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Over 18 years of age
High School diploma or GED
Senior level experience in a building engineer capacity
Strong written and verbal English skills
Comfortable working on computers
Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing

Compensation & Benefits:
Average Starting Rate: $38.00-$40.00 per hour

PLUS onsite housing provided with rent and utilities 100% company paid for a two bedroom, two bath condo in an upscale complex.
