Training Specialist

Are you a creative, results-driven Training Specialist ready to bring your passion for developing human potential to the forefront of our employee development efforts? You will partner with our L&D Manager, HR team, and stakeholders from across our organization to design and deliver programs that set us apart in the staffing industry.
Compensation: $50k-$75k
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, Remote with 10-25% travel to branch locations.
How you'll make an impact:
The Training Specialist elevates the performance and wellbeing of our employees by creating end-to-end training solutions in line with our core values and strategic vision. You will follow the ADDIE model, delivering onboarding, orientation, and skills training designed to thoughtfully enhance the competencies of employees.
- Analysis & Planning: Conduct research, collaborate with subject experts, and develop relationships with stakeholders.
- Instructional Design: Create engaging curricula that leverages multimedia content, such as presentations, graphics, videos, training manuals, and LMS coursework.
- Facilitation: Deliver interactive workshops for a diverse group of learners using facilitation skills, including group discussion, lecture, simulations, eLearning, and videos.
- Evaluation & Iteration: Produce objective measurements of training program performance through surveys, feedback, and assessment of employees' skill or knowledge levels pre and post training.
- LMS Administration: maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
- 2-4 years of experience in training and content development within a staffing environment.
- A passion and commitment to the latest trends in adult learning and learning technology.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, instructional design, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Experience with learning management system, SCORM, or other eLearning software.
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
- Open to travel 10-25% within our branch locations.

Physical Requirements: To successfully perform the duties of this job, the associate is required to have the ability and skills sufficient to interact with branch personnel, corporate personnel, and temporary employees in person, via phone, and via email. The associate must have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand/eye coordination, arm/hand/finger dexterity including the ability to grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read and write the application information. The staff associate is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
