How you'll make an impact:

The role the Facilities Department is to support every other department and employee at Carter's.

The Facilities Coordinator position requires someone extremely focused on customer service and attention

to detail and follow-up.

The Facilities Coordinator reports to the Facilities Manager and has no direct reports. The position is located at Phipps Tower,

50%- Inventory/Office Space Well-Being

Maintain inventory levels of all breakroom supplies including but not limited to forks, knives, spoons, napkins and all paper goods, coffee, tea and other beverages and condiments.

Take weekly inventory of each breakroom and maintain adequate par levels for minimum and maximum supplies.

Make a list of items to be ordered every three weeks and give report to Facilities Manager.

Maintain cleanliness of breakrooms throughput each day and empty trash daily or as needed.

Report any equipment failures including lighting to facilities manager.

Change bulbs in Carter's signage on 17th and 18th floors.

Stock and maintain cleanliness and sterility of Mother's Rooms.

Immediately clean spills as needed.

Clean workstations and maintain cleanliness of glass and other area throughout Carter's floors.

20% - Workstation Management

Assist in employee moves as needed. Relocate boxes and equipment by referring to floor plan for to and from locations.

Relocate IT/Computer equipment by disconnecting and reconnecting at new location. Turn on to verify equipment works at new location.

Clean workstations as needed.

20% - Mailroom Administrative Duties

Assist in Copy Center. Operate binder, cutter, laminator, hole puncher and copiers as needed.

Assist in making signage.

Assist in Retail Store projects and mailings including hole punching, stapling, sorting, binding and cutting to ensure projects are on schedule.

10% - Building Maintenance

Assist in cleanliness of Carter's lab as needed and any emergencies such as glass breakage, spills, water leaks, etc.. Maintain relationships with property management porters for assistance as needed.

Must have:

Ability to work independently. Read floorplans. Be organized.

Accuracy - Maintain inventories of multiple break room supplies and stay within budget.

Ability to move expensive computer equipment to and from workstations efficiently. Work with IT Department to request new equipment.

Ability to successfully multitask. Position involves working on multiple projects at one time.

Ability to work well with others including CEO and Leadership Team.

Must be customer and detail focused.

Preferred skills and experience:

Five years' experience working at large facility with hundreds of employees.

Ability to finish projects on time. Exceptional planning skills.

Knowledge of inventory management and ability to prioritize.

Good judgement.
