Job Summary
The Facilities Coordinator is a key member of Peace Preparatory Academy’s Operations team who ensures the school’s facilities are safe and in good repair. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Facilities Coordinator assists with daily school needs and long-term projects.

Open campus daily and ensure the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of all school facilities. Perform routine maintenance tasks for school facilities and systems. Maintain accurate records of repairs and routine maintenance tasks. In collaboration with the Director of Operations, schedule and supervise outside vendors for repairs and service when needed. Serve as the first point of contact for facilities requests related to repairs of furniture, repairs to walls and doors, emergency plumbing concerns, and other similar items. Move, assemble, and arrange furniture as needed to ensure all classrooms, offices, and common spaces are appropriately furnished. Respond promptly to emergency facilities needs during working hours. Maintain prompt and regular attendance. Perform other duties as assigned by an appropriate administrator or their representative.Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
Knowledge of basic facilities management and repair preferred. Familiarity with hand tools preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of integrity and independence. Strong problem-solving skills and motivation to carry a project through to completion. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions. Demonstrated ability to work well with students, staff, and parents in a professional manner. Knowledge of school safety & security procedures.
Benefits

Working Hours
Monday - Friday 7:00 am -11:30 am during regular school schedule and some school breaks - approximately 200 work days per year Occasional eventing and weekend hours available at same rate of pay
Salary Range
$18 to $25 - Depending on years of experience and skills
