Description The Project Specialist is responsible for providing support to the Operations Project Manager by coordinating project activities related to all projects within the Sales Operations Department. The Project Specialist is responsible for performing a myriad of administrative tasks. They communicate project information to stakeholders, design templates, create presentations, review, and edit project deliverables and maintain the project information repository. They observe existing project practices and propose improvements for process efficiency. Essentially, Project Specialist’s ensure that projects are effectively planned and well-organized as tasked by the Operations Project Manager. The Project Specialist is based in the Arlington office and reports to the Operations Project Manager. Essential Functions Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines along with approval from the Operations Project Manager Collaborate with various employees within the Sales Operations Team to complete various improvement projects This includes: Inventory Projects, Quality Projects, Vendor Access/Credentialing Projects, and other various functions with the Sales Operations Team Work directly with the Customer Contracts and Setup Department to ensure goals are met efficiently Responsible for assisting the Operations Project Manager in SOP creation within the Sales Operations Team Work directly with project manager to help implement project goals Various tasks and projects from direct Operations Project Manager This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field, or relevant work experience An analytical mind with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques. Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed Ability and desire to work collaboratively and independently to ensure successful project execution Working knowledge of necessary industry-related tools Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle Include anticipated travel.
