This role involves designing, implementing, and managing knowledge management systems and tools at various security levels, including Unclassified, Secret, and TS/SCI. The Knowledge Manager will organize and streamline operational processes, maintain a central repository of IT service support knowledge, and provide training to Government personnel on KM services and tools. Must possess Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance level. Key Responsibilities: Design and Implement Knowledge Management (KM) Systems: Develop and deploy KM systems and tools across various security levels, including Unclassified, Secret, and TS/SCI, utilizing Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and SharePoint. Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements and policies set by the Designated Approval Authority for each specific network. Operational Process Mapping and Analysis: Identify, map, and analyze operational processes within Delta 6 to optimize and streamline workflows. Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements that enhance organizational efficiency. Maintain Central Knowledge Repository: Manage a central repository of IT services support knowledge, ensuring it is easily accessible by Delta 6 personnel and customers. This repository should serve as a comprehensive source of information to support operational tasks and decision-making. Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training for Government personnel on KM services, systems, and tools. Ensure that training aligns with the work center’s master training plan and enhances the knowledge management capabilities of the team. Data and Information Lifecycle Management: Oversee the planning and coordination of the complete lifecycle of organizational data and information assets. This includes ensuring the accurate collection, management, sharing, and control of information across Delta 6 operations. Knowledge Requirements Analysis: Identify and analyze data, information, and knowledge requirements to facilitate the discovery and dissemination of decision-quality information. Support Delta 6 in meeting Space Operations Command (SpOC) objectives by ensuring that the right information is available to the right people at the right time. User Assistance and Education: Assist and educate users on authoritative data sources, data services, and presentation tools, helping them effectively leverage KM systems to meet their objectives. Qualifications: A BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution fulfills the educational requirement. CompTIA Security+ or GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) Required. Additional certifications in knowledge management, such as Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM), are highly desirable. At least 5 years of experience in knowledge management, information systems, or a related field, with a focus on implementing and managing KM systems. Experience in a military or defense context is preferred, particularly within operations involving high-security environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly in designing and managing databases and presentations; SharePoint for creating and maintaining knowledge repositories and collaboration sites; knowledge management tools and methodologies for organizing, sharing, and leveraging organizational knowledge; and process improvement techniques and the ability to analyze and streamline operational workflows.
