Summary / Role Purpose The primary responsibility of this role is to build content and infrastructure to support a successful and scalable training and certification program, as well as assess customer satisfaction and drive best practices within the partners’ organizations to meet corporate satisfaction and performance goals. This role is also responsible for supporting the growth of the Ansys business through Channel Partners by identifying training and mentoring needs to ensure the channel partners are meeting the evolving market and customers’ needs. Key Duties and Responsibilities Maintain and enhance the Ansys channel partner certification platform to help build a best-in-class certification program. Ensure certification tests and questions databases are up to date and of high quality. Assist in developing high level plans, processes, tools around product training (for sales reps and AEs), certification, and support that align with channel program short-term and longer-term sales growth objectives. Responsible for training and certification materials (for sales reps, AEs and other roles) to be used globally. Collaborate with Sales, ACE, Marketing and BU Development organizations as needed. When appropriate, deliver training in areas of expertise related to fluids, mechanical, electronics, and new products. Drive customer satisfaction within the Channel Partner customer base through surveys and other innovative methods. Conduct channel partner customer surveys and communicate results to partners and ensure follow-up and resolution of complaints, and ensure remedy is in place (additional training, process changes, additional capacity, etc.) Conduct and maintain the Channel Partner Principals surveys and communicate results to Ansys Channel Program team to ensure improvements are implemented continue to develop the program. Develop, automate, and maintain reports and metrics to enable effective execution of the training and certification program, and customer satisfaction metrics. Support quarterly reports and scorecards for each Partner to help bring visibility to accomplishments, progress towards yearly goals, and identify challenges. Identify and communicate issues quickly to management and recommend solutions for improvement. Other job-related duties may be assigned by management from time to time. Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering simulation or PLM industry, including 3 years industry applications experience. Practical knowledge of CAD, FEA, CFD, and EMAG and other engineering software technologies Self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong planning, project management and communication skills. Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Travel 15%+ required, including international. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline Drive for results Strong teamwork and collaboration with colleagues across Ansys and Partners Ability to leverage cross-functional resources necessary for a successful training and certification program. Be a Champion for Channel Partners within Ansys Understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud computing, IOT, Electrification, Digital Twin, Additive Manufacturing trends and their impact on customer opportunities. Good understanding of competitive products. Strong skills in using tools such as Power BI, Power Flow, Advanced Excel functionality and scripting.
