Sales Manager - IPX

Company:Thermal Engineering Int'l (USA) Job Type:Sales and Marketing Position Summary: Essential Responsibilities:

* Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings.

* Pre-qualify, analyze and forecast "key" international sales opportunities.

* Lead expansion and growth initiative for TEIs Strategic Plan

* Cultivate and develop strong, long-term client relationships with senior executives in key client organizations.

* Analyze markets, conduct general and detailed market research, and generate new solution & market strategy and plans that support the companys growth objectives.

* Assists with complex sales negotiations, attends sales presentations and close sales.

* Directly manage client accounts and provide senior level assistance and oversight in the development of winning sales proposals and responses to IPX request for proposals.

* Develop and oversee IPX sales training program for new and existing employees. Will be directly responsible for assuring that sales employees are equipped with the product, system and selling-skills training required.

* Development of Annual IPX Sales Bookings targets.

* Outstanding communications skills required. High level of communication with internal and external customers at varying levels including senior managers.

* Proficient in creating sales / technical presentations and presenting to Plant / Corporate staffs.

* Must possess creativity / adaptability to develop successful business development strategies

* Experience with process heat exchanger applications and markets

Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with MBA or other Graduate Business Degree is preferred. Requires a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in a sales leadership role with at least 5 years of direct selling experience of Heat Transfer Products to the Power, Process or Industrial Industries. International Selling / Business Development Experience is preferred. Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel frequently and on short notice.

Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

Office environment with up to 40% travel.
