- Collaborate with sales colleagues to gather essential account data that will inform the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor pricing strategies, market share, and competitive movements, thereby supporting market growth and achieving business objectives.
Performance Reporting and Management
- Generate monthly performance reports that summarize regional business unit outcomes against sales targets, individual achievements versus goals, and other critical performance metrics.
- Compile and analyze foundational data to evaluate the cost structure and market positioning of products in the region, determining profitability and offering data-driven insights for market retention or exit strategies.
Regional Sales and Operations Planning
- Prepare comprehensive information derived from regional sales forecasts, demand projections, and negotiated pricing for use in Global S&OP discussions.
- Work in tandem with team members and conduct market trend research to gather insights that will facilitate data-driven recommendations for volume setting and base pricing aimed at maximizing profitability.
Product Portfolio Management
- Evaluate the cost structure and profitability of products within specific market segments to formulate and execute strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring profit targets are met or exceeded.
- Analyze data from sales and production perspectives to identify potential cost efficiencies and make informed recommendations regarding product retention or discontinuation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Finance, Sales, Marketing, or a related Business field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in Commercial Marketing with a proven track record in analyzing sales strategies and developing pricing frameworks to drive performance.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience within a large Chemical corporation, providing market data analysis to support chemical/polymer product sales.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Time Management: Excellent time management capabilities, adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Language Proficiency: Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is highly preferred.
