Purpose of this Position: Manage the company's marketing communication channels to current and prospective customers and work with internal teams to enhance the customer's experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Brand Strategy: Execute a comprehensive brand strategy aligned with the company's vision and ensure its integration into all marketing communication initiatives
  • Media and Public Relations: Manage and develop strategies for media relations
  • Content Creation and Website Management: Supervise the creation of engaging content for marketing communication channels, with a focus on the website and thought leadership. Work with Product Marketing Manager to ensure the website content aligns with overall marketing and brand strategies.
  • Marketing Automation: Experience implementing marketing automation solutions and ABM strategies is preferred
  • Market Research: Work with Product Marketing Manager to conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and use the insights to refine the brand strategy
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging
  • Events: Manage the creation of content for all McLeod Software events
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or Communications
  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of relevant leadership experience in marketing communications; experience in transportation and/or software industry a plus
  • Leadership Skills: Experience leading and managing teams, fostering collaboration, and achieving results through others
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner
  • Analytical Abilities: Proficient in analyzing data, interpreting market trends, and translating insights into actionable strategies
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices; knowledge of the transportation software industry a plus
