As a Procurement Specialist, you will be tasked with the pivotal role of procuring automotive electronic components for PCB Assembly, managing an annual procurement volume of 15-20 million. Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining relationships with existing suppliers, sourcing new suppliers, assisting with planning and forecasting, managing lead times, and tracking inventory. You will also identify cost-saving opportunities and assist with the implementation of a new ERP system. This role requires adaptability, as lead times for components can range from a few days to several years.
